Great Blue Heron with Mud Snake captured with Nikon D300 with Nikon 400MM Lens. I was shooting a Snowy Egret along with other photographers when I saw an image emerge form the grass, I immediately turned my focus on the immage and shot a series. This photo placed 1st in the A. Division and Won Overall Best of Show in the 2010 SC Wildlife Photo Contest.
