Western Diamondback Rattlesnake

Western Diamondback Rattlesnake: The western diamondback rattlesnake, a feared species by many visitors of the Refuge; including a young lady that almost stepped on this one. This beautiful specimen was found and removed from around the Refuge facilities by a staff member, allowing me to take advantage of the relocation and lay down a few feet away to look at each other eye to eye.
